I'm Trula & I am the face behind the name.
A wife & stay at home Mum of six, who has spent many years in the kitchen with my young ones creating whatever their little mind's could imagine.
Some years ago my eldest daughter was diagnosed as cow's milk intolerant, we've come a long way in the last few years on the high-street but back then, treats such as cake really weren't readily available & so when she asked me for a 'proper' birthday cake, the researching & making seemed to trigger what turned out to be a wonderful creative, soul soothing journey, in which I taught myself the incredible skill of cake creation & sugar craft with Free From & Vegan always at the heart of why I do what I do.
Of course it didn't happen over night, but in all honesty it's something you never stop learning, there are always new techniques, trends & challenges & just like family life, it keep's me on my toes!
Family & friends have always been on hand to encourage the creativity & patiently waited for me to build enough courage, to dive in & decide to make my little dream a reality & so Trula Marie's Little Cake Company was born. A small business, run with family & love at the heart.
The Dream
In Short, the dream is to produce a piece for you that helps to build incredible memories & wonderful smiles.
Whether we are designing & creating an intricate Wedding masterpiece, a simple, yet understated celebration cake, or cupcakes, we consider them all a work of art, with every client being just as important as the next.
Trula Marie's little cake company, prides itself on being very personable - I'm a real person not a large corporation, on hand to help you make the consultation process, planning & ordering easy & stress free.
At the end of the day, the aim is to create a service so good, you come back for years to come & we'd also love you to tell all your friends & family about us too, there is no greater compliment than a returning customer or a recommendation.
